ABOUT NW HERITAGE HOGS
In 2019 we bought a 90 year old dairy farm that had long since seen any livestock on the property. Our intent was to bring it back to a working farm with cattle. Little did we know that we would end up falling in love with raising pigs. When we decided to make the move to pigs we had some conditions: we wanted delicious meat, quick growers and a breed that would be safe for our children to be around. We googled (yes, googled), "what is the best pork?" and berkshires popped up. The more reading we did, the more we realized we needed to get these amazing animals on the farm.

Fast forward to 2021, we realized that more people needed to know how great berkshires were. We felt obligated to share why we love these animals so much. They are docile, friendly and we often times refer to them as big dogs because they just want to be loved on. Not only that, but their meat yields some of, if not THE BEST meat you will ever have.

So we are here to share high quality berkshire meat, breeding stock and show pigs.
